Junior First Round Match Reports
Our first week of cricket in the under 12's kicked of last Friday night against a newly entered team called Griffin. Our new captain Aidan lost his first toss and we failed first.
Considering it was our game all of our bowlers bowled a great line and we took wickets regularly. Our fielders backed the bowlers superbly and kept the opposition under pressure all innings.
Our batsman all were able to get some much needed early season practice.Given the light conditions fading early we tried to give as many batsman as possible a quick hit.
Over all it was a great team effort and we look forward to playing our first game at home (Windermere) next Friday the 17th.
