Junior Second Round Match Reports
We played our first game at home at Windermere against Ferntree Gully. We won the toss and batted first and agreed with the opposition to try and play 23 overs each. At the end of our innings we ended up scoring 59, a great effort considering we batted 15 players and retired at least 10 of our players. Top scorers were our captain Aidan with 18 and Jackson with a quick fire 14 both retired to give everyone a bat. Charlie Harris had his first bat for the year and looked very comfortable. In the field we rotated our bowlers to give everyone a bowl and we picked up a few wickets along the way keeping the opposition to to around 66. Josh Hardman with his ripping Legy's made life tough for the batsman. All the bowlers bowled a great line and length and shows our training is paying of. David Harris
