Junior Third Round Match Reports Day 1
With our first 2 day game we played Griffin Black at Windermere on Friday night.
Winning the toss and batting first we lost a couple of early wickets, Brodie Wise held the top order together and was able to retire after a great knock.
We found ourselves in trouble at 4/25 until Jack Mawdsley and Jarron Harris steadied the ship to have us at 4/41 at the split innings.
We fought well to have Griffin at 3/45 at the end of their first 20 overs. The bowlers fought hard led by Shane Bell who has 1/2 of 3 overs and Brad Hunt has 1/0 including also being involved in a great run out.
We will resume our innings next week in what is shaping up to be a close game.
