Junior Third Round Match Reports Day 2
Our first two day match continued and in a very close game the Gators got home by 1 run 6/80 v Griffin Black 6/79. Some of the highlights of the game were Brodie Wise who retired with his 30 balls and also took 2/2. Jarron Harris top scored and retired on 14, Brady Hunt and Josh Hardman also retired using there 30 balls. Mitchell Davies in his first proper hit made 8 including his first boundary.
The pleasing aspect of this game was that we batted our full amount of overs and our bowlers toiled very hard and kept the pressure on, this was by far our best game with all players contributing in some form.
It is great to see us continue our improvement as each game goes by, next game will see us travel up to Belgrave for a two day game.
