Junior Fourth Round Match Reports Day 1
The under 12's ventured up to Belgrave and after winning the toss we decided to have a bat. We finished our 20 overs split innings at 4/45 Brodie Wise was his usual solid self at the top of the order including a big 6.
Liam Raymond held the innings together and retired after his 30 balls on 10. Shane Bell also used his 30 balls and retired, after a couple of quick wickets Dylan De Silva and Jack Mawdsley steadied the ship.
In the field Belgrave after their first 20 overs finished on 2/77 the Gators toiled hard and were unlucky. Mitchell Davies picked up a wicket and we had an excellent run out.
Very pleased with the way the boys fought hard and we look forward to continuing against Belgrave next week.
