Great Day at the Gators 2014 Christmas Party
A great day had by all at the Gators 2014 Christmas Party. Lot's members, both young and old and everything inbetween enjoyed a very pleasant afternoon at the club, in great weather with great company.
The juniors had fund participating in a number of games, where everyone was a winner and they had fun bouncing around in jumping castle. Thanks to weather being so good, the juniors and seniors also enjoyed a good old fashioned water fight and of course, there was the juniors v the seniors cricket match, where the juniors surely won!
There was customary raffle where our good friends Economy Bolts donated some great power tools, Saxon Sports donated a new cricket bat and Big Little Ric donated some fantastic memorabilia, along with a number of other assorted prizes. El Presidente won the cordless drill, damn you Harri, I had my eyes on that! Wilesy won the angle grinder and a number of people were dissappointed to miss out on the new cricket bat, which was won Raymond and left us wonderring why he chose it? Ray you're old and haven't played cricket years, why the bat, maybe for some budding young grand child, eh?
Thanks to all who came down to the club, which made it a very successful day. A very special thanks to all that helped out, Jacquie Harris, Chris Harris, and the rest of the Harris Clan who helped set up the day, also Brett Tucker and Garry Wilson, who cooked the BBQ, the girls who helped out in the canteen Vanessa Lindner, Erika Smith, Laura Davey, Maddie Cole, Ros Wheeler and Big LIttle Rick Lindner. Marshall Bunting who ran the raffle and the two Garry's, Smart and Wilson who took some photos of the day. Also a thank you to great friends at Economy Bolts and Saxon Sports, great supporters of the Gators and to Big Little Ric for his memorabelia donations for the raffle, and The Cheese Cake Shop on Boronia for donating a cake for the club. We've probably missed thanking someone, I apologise if this is the case, certainly not intentional.
Once again thanks to everyone for a great day.
